Poverty remains the most critical social problem that needs to be addressed.Poverty needs to be prevent and must be the first priority of the government today.Did you ever asked yourself why does Filipino's are always in the other country and working hard for them to help their family.Some told me before that Filipino's are "slaves" and that hurt me so much.We must also protect the children because God created them to live and not to suffer.They need to go school,learn things around us,but if we don't have enough money to send them school,how can they experience the good things around us in this world. I realized that we the Filipino's doesn't need to go abroad just to earn money for our living if our country has enough fund to support our needs.We need to do something to prevent this one of the major problem of our country today,the "poverty".

POVERTY
Poverty in the Philippines is a huge problem with many different causes.The Philippine aid society was founded to fight the poverty in the Philippines.Its mission statement is to provide critical goods and services to Filipinos in desperate needs and where possible equip them with the means of self sustenance,in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Causes of poverty

Rapid population growth

Population Growth is the change in population over time,and can be quantified as the change in the number of individuals of any species i population using "per unit time"for measurement. 

Unemployment

Lack of opportunity to have work in the Philippines is one of the causes of poverty that's why there is unemployment in the Philippines because the government doesn't have enough money to sustain the salary of the people who are working here in the Philippines.

Lack of Individual Responsibility

  Poverty is caused by refusal on the part of individuals to take responsibility for their own economic well being.
Lack of Education

 The Lack of education in the Philippines quality of education.This is the first major issue that the Philippine government should resolve but somehow,it is recently improving.

Teenage Pregnancy

The government should action about the early teen pregnancy because its so alarming that as of now,many teenagers are commiting sex in their early age.This is one of the major cause of population growth.

Effects:
Malnutrition

If there is an early pregnancy,you can't sustain the need of the infant because you don't have the ability to work because you didn't finish your study.

Poor economic growth

The poor remain poor because they cannot borrow against future earning to invest for education,skills,new crops,and entrepreneurial activities.

Child Labor

When the parent's just don't have enough money to make ends meet they usually force their children out of school and send them to work out of the streets,haciendas or factories.

we must be responsible always so that the Poverty in our country will prevent as soon as possible!!!!
